Against the backdrop of the on-going privatization of the Nigerian electricity generation and distribution companies, the 2nd Annual Nigeria Energy and Power Summit (NEPS) has set the stage for key policy-makers, leading bankers, investors and financiers to engage senior executives representing major energy and power service companies including those that provide engineering, construction and maintenance service for generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure.

Building on the hugely successful launch last year, the NEPS, now in its 2nd annual edition, will be again held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja on the 27th and 28th of October 2011 with the official support of the Federal Ministry of Power, Presidential Task Force on Power and Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. The 2nd Annual NEPS will offer a unique opportunity for investors, energy and power companies to enhance their knowledge of current developments and projects in the industry. It is designed to examine regulatory reforms and sector focused innovative solutions, while assessing the prospects and challenges of the on-going restructuring of the electricity markets.
